Browser toolbar
The browser toolbar lays above the browser panel. Here you find various orders and tools for further processing. The field "Address" tells you the complete web address (URL) of the present website in the browser.
The following symbols will be found in the browser toolbar:
Arrow "Back" (to the left)
With this command you return to the website shown before the present website.
Arrow "Forward" (to the right)
With this command you switch to the website having been called up after the website currently shown. This function is only active if another website had already been loaded.
Stop
With this command you can stop running processes.
Update
With this symbol you can update the current results.
Field "Address"
The field "Address"tells you the complete web adress of the present website in the browser. You can also enter any known URL and call it up with the "Enter" key. The line under the word "Address" tells you by its colour if the website has been currently updated. Yellow underlining, e.g., means that the website has been updated in the last days whereas red underlining indicates that the source hasn't been updated for a longer period.
Start
By this symbol you can load the website of which you have entered the URL in the address field.
Arrow "Next result"
With this command you can open the website belonging to the next result in your result table.
Arrow "Previous result"
With this command, you can open the website belonging to the result listed before the one currently called up in the browser.
Add favorite
With this command, you can add the present website in the browser to your favorites.
Show favorites
With this command, you can call up a menu with further commands to organize your favorites.
Show
With this command, you can call up a menu with various options to reproduce websites having been called up the day or week before, e.g.
Tools
With this command, you can open a window with various commands such as Browser Options for example.
Browser only/ Split Screen
If the result panel shows the result table and browser panel at the same time, you can hide the result table by clicking on the Browser only symbol. You will have a larger view of the browser panel then. In this case, the symbol will change to Split screen. Click on Split screen if you want to call up the result table again.
Close (cross)
Click on that symbol to blind out the browser panel.
TIP
If you change to the Browser only mode, the symbols left to the address field on the browser toolbar move to the main toolbar while those symbols meant for web-search will be hidden.
